Britney moved her arms very purposefully today multiple times. She looked at me when I talked to her tonight after I got off my shift. She has been breathing on her own with a CPAP ventilator for almost 2 days now. Her kidneys are starting to work again on their own. Her left lung is still clearing on it's own. Her heart rate has been very normal for the most part. I had a great 1st shift today, and really fun ultrasound training. Talk to you soon.

ReplyDeleteLooks like Heavenly Father's touch. What a great miracle. I cannot tell you how happy I am to hear the good news!
ReplyDeleteBritney,
ReplyDeleteOur family believes in prayer. We know all will be well. You would be proud of John. He's done such a great job! Everyone in the ward loves his smile and can-do-we'll-get-through-this attitude. Anyway, anyone who can live all those years in the Milwaukee area braving the mosquitoes and snow banks will make it through residency, children, and an operation or two. Rena and David Hoefferle

John and Britney...I"m so excited about all the movement and the fact that Britney's body is still healing itself so well without more intervention. I really believe that we are in the midst of a miracle and there is only more great things to come. I will miss Casey's nightly reports, but will depend on Jana to keep me posted. Know that you are always in my prayers and in my thoughts.Hugs to all of you.
