Back at Kindred

Britney did very very well today. She was uncomfortable for a few hours this morning but her pain got under control and she slept most of the day. She came back to Kindred tonight and is breathing very well and has a normal heart rate for the first time in a few weeks. She will be monitored in the ICU at Kindred for a day or two until she gets used to the pump so they are sure the dose she is on is not too much because Baclofen can affect her breathing.

  2. John,I'm so glad that the pump is finally in and that Britney will soon be at dosages that
will allow for less pain medications. She did so well with the transfers and has really been much more alert.I'm so anxious to see if the muscle spasms and contractures will be improving soon. Just wanted to say "HI" to you and hope that you are enjoying your OB rotation.Sure do hope that the OB nurses are being nice and helpful to you. I know that i would be...smile. As usual..you are all in my thoughts and prayers always. Lots of love, Aunt Jan.
